TYLER, Texas, March 9, 2026 — Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) has been named to Newsweek’s 2026 list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women, recognizing organizations across the country that are committed to creating supportive, equitable environments where women can grow and succeed.

Developed in partnership with Plant-A Insights Group, the national recognition is based on one of the largest independent studies of the female workforce in the United States. The study included survey responses from more than 89,000 women representing more than one million companies nationwide. Companies were evaluated on a range of factors, including representation of women in leadership, pay equity, advancement opportunities, workplace culture and programs that support women’s professional development.

“This honor demonstrates our continued dedication to fostering a workplace where every employee-partner feels included, respected, and empowered to advance,” said Rosemary Jones, Executive Vice President – Chief People & Legal Officer for BGC. “We know that by supporting women and providing them with opportunities to lead and excel, we make our company, our stores, and our communities even stronger. We take pride in the culture our employee-partners shape each day and remain committed to expanding opportunities moving forward.”

BGC employs more than 17,000 employee-partners across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, and continues to invest in leadership development, career advancement opportunities and programs designed to support the success of all employee-partners.
